Museu do Ceará |
A museum vested in the Palacio of
Alencar that was constructed in 1817. A good example of the
neoclassic architecture that was used in the region at that
time. The museum offers a large collection of over 5,000 pieces
in the filed of Paleontology, anthropology and archeology. Also
often expositions are composed on the history of Ceará.

In Guaramiranga the music, arts and drama come
to live. Yearly the Jazz & Blues festival is held here. But during the
year also various other cultural and music festivals are held. A drive
of about one and a half hours to the Serra de Baturité is well worth.
